Social Summit promoting fair jobs and growth

Together with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, Sweden’s Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will host a Social Summit in Gothenburg on 17 November 2017 focusing on promoting fair jobs and growth. The Summit will gather heads of State and government, social partners and other key players to work together on a more social Europe. Well-functioning and fair European labour markets, effective and sustainable social protection systems and the promotion of social dialogue at all levels will be at the heart of the summit agenda.

Skills Profile Tool for Third Country Nationals

The European Commission has released the Skills Profile Tool for Third-Country Nationals, a tool that will make it possible for non-EU nationals to present their skills, qualifications and experiences in a way that is easily understood by employers and education and training providers, thus ensuring their skills are recognised and guiding them to training or employment. This tool is one of the ten Key Actions announced in the New Skills Agenda for Europe.
